My Winter Crochet

I hope you all are having a wonderful start to your week. God is so good! His love is unconditional! Aren't you glad His love for you is without reservations? What else can we wish for? He is just a prayer away.

As I told My friend JoAnn, I was going to make a post showing some of the crochet things I did this past winter.

Some dishcloths.
I love for my dishcloths to look nice on my sink, so I've tried several patterns and I think the one I like the most so far is the white one on the bottom right. Which this one is my own creation. I will have to write the pattern down so I can make others. It's like a Granny Square, with only shells, DC's and no space. The colored ones I made for gifts.

Kitchen hot pads.
Anna has claimed the light blue one for her hope chest. She wants a white and blue kitchen.

My bathroom rugs.
I love they way they turned out. I had never used a two strand yarn for crocheting it took me a little awhile to get used to it.
This rug was taken out of a crochet magazine I brought with me from Brazil.


This one was taken out of the book below. Both rugs are very large. The one below was to be a 45 inch round, but I think I stopped at about 30 inches.

I better go to bed, it's so late and I need to get up early to take Mark to work in order for me to have the car tomorrow.
