I Have Been Given Much

"...From everyone who has been given much, much will be required." Luke 12:48

As I worked on this list, I kept thinking that some people might get tired of reading the same things over and over again; But then I think how many times I need to be reminded of these truths over and over again my self.
For years I walked in spiritual bondage, in the darkness and poverty of the soul of man, I don't want to ever loose sight of what He has done and does for me everyday of my life. It's like a walk through a garden path and seeing the same rose bush everyday, and yet not tiring of seeing the new fragrant blossoms .

I am thankful for:

~ Breath of life ~

~ Good health ~

~ My wonderful loving husband ~

~ My sweet Anna, she is my very special friend ~

~ His unconditional love and His pardon ~

~ I am thankful He never gave up on me even ~

~His mercies are new every morning ~

~ Eternal life ~

~ His still, small voice ~

~ His Living Word ~

Have a lovely Thursday!

Ainsley's Quilt

This was my first attempt in applicate quilts. Little Ainsley's theme colors are more on the yellow side with touches of pink, so I used my 1930's reproduction fabric for touches of soft pink and yellow pastels. I used yellow fleece for the backing, my friend Lori gave me the tip, it made the quilt very soft and warm, like the one I've made for my little nephew Trent. I tied the quilt together at the very tip of the hearts.

I was a bit disappointed with the picture quality. I'm still getting used to how the flash on my new camera works. I used the blanket stitch around the hearts, verses the traditional applicate stitch.
This is one of the verses associated with Ainsley's name.
Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul. Psalm 143:8
Blessings on your Wednesday.

Trent's Quilt

I would like to share a quilt I've made last November for my little nephew Trent. He is an adorable little guy!
This was such an easy quilt to sew; I bought the fabric already put together from a Kit, then followed the directions of how to sew it. I used fleece for the back, it made soft and cuddly for a little one to snuggle with it.
